JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment with flawless delivery and execution of customer service.
  • Circulates throughout the area assigned, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
  • Reviews and evaluates customer confidential profiles to determine appropriate customer needs on a daily basis.
  • Responsible to develop & maintain player relationships with our casino guests.
  • Assists in recognizing guests and issuing of comps, as authorized.
  • Handles guest concerns, complaints and reports all incidents to the department management.
  • Responsible to book and attend VIP events.
  • Responsible to create incremental trips with our VIP coded customers using an event, promotion or other to drive the visit.
  • Responsible to have full knowledge and actively promote company marketing and promotional events, to proficiently answer guest questions.
  • Effectively tele-market to our VIP coded guests for the purpose of information, events, promotions or to book an event.
  • Possess excellent communicate skills (both written and verbal) to communicate with all guests and team members to ensure optimal guest service.  
  • Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.
  • Responsible for generating a positive and friendly atmosphere with all guests by both assisting guests when called upon and generally creating an ongoing host and player relationship
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years Casino Host experience required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems required.
  • Act with discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift.
  • Must be able to lift, up to 40 lbs in weight and be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs in weight throughout shift
  • Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp as needed.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Zone assignments covering large areas with long walking distances, Work areas could have high volumes, diverse clientele, noise, music, minimal and/or bright lighting and variation of climate control.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management is mandatory.
  •    Must be able to handle all types of guest related situations; relay all guest compliments and complaints to department management.
